Freecruiter is fully committed to protecting the privacy of our users. Our aim is to provide our users with a secure online experience and to ensure that any information submitted to us via the website is kept private, and is used/disclosed only for the purposes and in the means described below.
As a crowdsourced recruitment job site, Freecruiter asks job seekers, freelance recruiters and employers to submit all information relevant to the job or candidate search so as to conduct/optimise the functionality of the search. All information is submitted exclusively on a voluntary basis. Please find below the details of our member privacy practices:
To fully participate in our job and candidate databases or search activities, we require you to register as a Freecruiter member. Non-registered users can gain partial access only, such as positions available for job seekers and freelance recruiters, or candidate names and qualifications for employers, but this information is limited.
To register, we ask for contact information (job seekers, freelance recruiters and employers) and information on your company (employers). Freecruiter is the sole owner of all information collected on the registration pages of our website and we will never disclose this information to anyone outside of our organisation. Your personal information, such as name and email address, may be used to contact you about any features/services on our site which we believe may be of interest to you. Our goal is to provide our users with a personal and unique experience each time they visit our site and log in to Freecruiter. To that end we may direct you to jobs, articles or forums that we think may assist you in your career or search for a candidate. The details we collect and store do not include credit card information. All credit card information will not be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties.
Registered users of Freecruiter services must be at least 18 years of age. Freecruiter services are not directed to children and Freecruiter does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age.
Job seekers are able to create a public profile on Freecruiter based on the information they provide on their CV. By opting to do this you fully understand that your profile is in the public domain and can be accessed by search engines. Job seekers can opt to enable or disable their public profile at any time. Once a public profile is activated, search engines and others may obtain permanent copies of it, regardless of whether the user disables their profile. Freecruiter cannot restrict views of the copies of the public profile obtained by search engines and other crawlers.
Employers are asked to submit full, in-depth contact information and information about the position requirements as a part of their job posting activity. Information is submitted purely on a voluntary basis, and job details may be viewed by any registered job seeker or freelance recruiter members. Non-members may also view a position, but do not have ability to action on it. They must first register in order to be able to apply or recommend someone to your company. As an additional privacy feature, employers may hide their company name when their jobs are viewed online. Your privacy will be assured, while job seekers have the option to reply to the posting. You may modify or delete any information you provide at any point in time.
Registered job seekers, freelance recruiters and employers on Freecruiter have access to a personal workspace from where they can manage their job/candidate/referral search history, review their billing history and monitor the usage of their account (employers). All information in this space can only be viewed by the registered user and accessed after logging in with a password.
We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our website. These companies may use information about your visits to this and other websites so as to provide advertisements about goods and services that may be of interest to you.
